CROSBY, STILLS & NASH ANNOUNCE 2013 TOUR WITH DATES IN THE U.S. AND EUROPE IN MAY, JUNE AND JULY

On the heels of their acclaimed 2012 year-long world tour, Crosby, Stills & Nash will touragain in 2013, beginning with a series of dates in May in the Southeastern United States.  The tour begins May 5 at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL, and concludes at the Hard Rock Casino & Resort in Biloxi, MS on May 25.  Other highlights include Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL (May 7), the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, FL (May 10-11), the Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, SC (May 21), and the Performing Arts Center in Montgomery, AL (May 24). CSN official website members will have access to pre-sale tickets before the public on sales begin next week.  Details are available at http://bit.ly/CSNfan.

In June and July, CSN will tour in Europe with dates beginning June 20 at the Junge Garde in Dresden, DE.  CSN has announced dates thru July 4 and 5 at the Olympia inParis, France. Additional dates will be announced soon.  Other destinations include the SAP Arena in Mannheim, DE (June 23), the May Schmeling Halle in Berlin, DE (June 28), Stadpark in Hamburg, DE (May 29), and the Tollwood Festival in Munchen, DE (July 1).

CSN’s 2013 tour dates build on the momentum and excitement of their live 2012 performances.  Reviewing the Red Rocks show, MSN Music’s Mark Brown wrote, “CSNabsolutely killed it. Every song.  No lulls.  No filler…It’s hard to believe that any band in 2012 would be putting on better shows than it did in 1969, but CSN did just that.”  Of the tour’s October 22 closer, Zach Dionne wrote for Billboard, “Monday's finale to Crosby, Stills & Nash’s international 80-date tour may have been one of the more memorable gigs of the group's career. Concluding a string of five nights at New York City's Beacon Theatre, the trio hearkened to 1969, showcasing the first-ever complete performance of their self-titled debut album…if anyone was disappointed, they hid it well.”

The same players that accompanied Crosby, Stills & Nash in 2012 will be on the road with them in 2013: Todd Caldwell (organ), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao(drums), Kevin McCormick (bass), and James Raymond (keyboards).

CSN 2012, a 25-song set presenting CSN’s first live performance film in more than 20 years, was released last summer in Blu-Ray and DVD/2CD versions, featuring complete concert footage and bonus content—including a conversation with David Crosby,Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash, and “on-the-road interviews” with the group’s band and crew.  CSN also recently released the first recording artist subscription-based iPad App approved for sale in the Apple App Store.  The CSN App installs for free, and includes a media-rich overview of CSN’s history, with links to the group’s website, social media sites, iTunes, and ever-growing content in four unique “rooms”: “The Attic,” “The Studio,” “The Road,” and “The Living Room.”  Paid subscriptions also are available allowing access to exclusive content and premium fan features.

More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played its first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music.  David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times—with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively. They have also been inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, honoring both CSN as a group, and each member as individual solo artists.
