He describes how he became one of the most popular acts of the British Invasion as a founding member of the Hollies, a group known for its distinctive vocal harmony style and hits such as “Just One Look” and “Here I Go Again.” He chronicles his 1967 relocation to Los Angeles, where he cofounded the legendary group Crosby, Stills & Nash, which ignited a sound that defined the culture and redefined American music. He writes tenderly of his relationship with Joni Mitchell during a time when they both produced their most introspective and significant work, and he reflects on watershed cultural moments such as the trial of the Chicago Seven, the Summer of Love, Woodstock, the historic No Nukes concert, and the dismantling of the Berlin Wall, which he played on top of as it came down.

GRAHAM NASH is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee—with CSN and with the Hollies. He was also inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame twice, as a solo artist and with CSN, and he is a Grammy Award winner. In 2010, Nash was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth for his contributions as a musician and philanthropist. An activist for social and environmental justice, he is also an artist, acclaimed photographer, and photography collector. He lives in Hawaii with his wife, Susan.
