“The Pasadena Playhouse is proud to support the work of Five Acres," stated Elizabeth Doran, Playhouse Executive Director. "As we approach our own 100th birthday, what could be more exciting than to honor the 125 years of service this great organization has given to our community? The Pasadena Playhouse deeply values this kind of community enrichment - in fact it is an important component of our art form. Ultimately, our institutions reflect our community's vision for a better future for all."

“We, at Five Acres, are fortunate to have such wonderful community partners supporting our work with children and families in crisis,” said Chanel Boutakidis, Chief Executive Officer. “We are honored that Crosby and Nash have taken the time to host an exclusive concert in support of Five Acres’ mission and for The Pasadena Playhouse who is playing a key role with this event. Continued community support is one of the critical factors that have enabled us to continue making a positive impact for over 125 years.”

In 2009, Crosby Nash hosted a benefit concert for Five Acres Grace Center, raising funds for its domestic violence prevention program. As a duo, the longtime creative partners bring out the best in each other, yet their distinct and complementary style balance an equation that delivers a seamless and inspiring musical whole. As the duo carries their legacy of timeless songwriting, indelible vocals and peerless harmonies into the future, Crosby and Nash are committed to helping raise funds for Five Acres’ vital services for children and families across Southern California.

“I have been so lucky in my life and been given many opportunities to be able to 'give back,’ said Graham Nash. “Working on behalf of Five Acres is just such a wonderful opportunity. It will be a pleasure for David Crosby and I to help and keep life moving forward.”
Over its 125 year history, Five Acres has been caring for children in need, connecting them with safe, loving families and strengthening families for long-term success.
